Eco Repairs engineer giving a thumbs up after completing a repair
Our Engineers

The People Behind Every Repair

Every appliance we repair is handled by a vetted, trained, and certified engineer. Here's what that means in practice, and the standards every engineer is held to before they ever visit your home.

We don't send anyone to your home without checking their background, verifying their qualifications, and making sure they're trained on the appliances and brands they'll be working on.

These are the checks and certifications every Eco Repairs engineer holds — not marketing claims, but the same standards referenced throughout our site and terms of service.

How We Vet & Train Our Engineers

DBS-Checked

Every engineer undergoes a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check before they're allowed to attend a customer's home.

Gas Safe & F-Gas Certified

Engineers working on gas cookers, hobs, and ovens are Gas Safe registered; refrigerant work on fridges and freezers is carried out by F-Gas certified engineers, as required by UK law.

City & Guilds Certified

Our engineers hold City & Guilds certification and take part in ongoing CPD (continuing professional development) training.

Manufacturer-Approved Training

Eco Repairs is an approved service centre for leading manufacturers including Beko, Hotpoint, Indesit, Grundig, Blomberg, and Whirlpool, so engineers follow manufacturer-approved repair standards.

Our Standards

We hold engineers to the same standard on every job — accurate diagnosis, honest advice, and no work carried out without your approval.

Vetted. Trained. Certified. Accountable.

Every repair also comes with a 90-day guarantee on parts and labour, so the standard doesn't stop when the engineer leaves.
